👷 Memphis, TN: Tulsa-based Flintco, LLC has kicked off work on the $30m Fogleman College of Business & Economics renovation project for the University of Memphis. Bham’s Williams Blackstock Architects & 4FDesign handled the design work.

👷 Charlottesville, VA: Mark Turner Construction is working on the new, $50m-ish, 6-level, 1,030-space North Grounds Parking Garage at The University of Virginia. On track to be completed later this year.

👷 Gainesville, FL: The University of Florida is building a new $65m Music Building. Barr & Barr, Inc. is handling construction management.

👷 Akron, OH: Regency Construction Services, Inc. has started work on their Knight Center for Creative Engagement project, which will be a major transformation of the Polsky Building at The University of Akron.

👷 Davidson, NC: Barringer Construction has the $100m George Lawrence Abernathy Library at Davidson College underway and moving toward completion Fall 2027. It includes a renovation & addition to the former E.H. Little Library that will total over 100,000 sq ft when completed.

👷 Norman, OK: WYNN CONSTRUCTION CO INC is working on the $15.8m, 108-foot-tall, Max Westheimer Air Traffic Control Tower Replacement project for The University of Oklahoma.

👷 DeLand, FL: Williams Company has celebrated the ribbon-cutting of their Edmunds Center renovation project at Stetson University. Go Hatters!

👷 High Point, NC: Shelco, LLC is building the new 4-story, 150,000 sq ft, $100m, Charman Library at High Point University.

👷 Mobile, AL: Bham-based Hoar Construction is moving toward the finish line on the new, $35m, Annette N. Shelby Health and Science Innovation Center at Spring Hill College.

👷 Baton Rouge, LA: Louisiana State University is moving forward on the construction of a new $154m library being built by a joint-venture of Milton J. Womack, Inc. and DonahueFavret Contractors, Inc.

👷 Macon, GA: Sheridan Construction is building a new $80m, 150,000 sq ft, Medical School Facility for Mercer University in downtown Macon.

👷 Bowling Green, KY: Mosser is working on the Technology Engineering Innovation Center at Bowling Green State University. It will make its debut this spring and is a total renovation & 24,000 sq ft addition to their old Technology Center Building.

👀 Lincoln, NE: The University of Nebraska-Lincoln is looking at a $600m addition/renovation project on their football stadium.

👀 Galveston, TX: Texas A&M University Galveston Campus is planning to break ground on a Sea Turtle Rehab Hospital later this year that would open in 2028.
