🤩 HIGH-FIVE: Jacksonville State University on the opening of the ROC, named after board member & Alabama front-man Randy Owen. The Randy Owen Center is a beautiful, functional facility that adds a lot to campus.

🤩 HIGH-FIVE: to our friends Benard Tamburello & Brianna Tamburello on their recent tour of Italy, finding out all new cooking tips. Get by their Vecchia Pizza empire at The Preserve in Hoover and see what all they learned! Sign up for one of their cooking classes, too.

🤩 HIGH-FIVE: Loving Dan Williams’ upcoming concept, Karma’s Kitchen, in Bham’s 5 Points South. Good breakfast-type eats, open 24-hours, in the former 5 Points Public House space. It is going to be awesome. Hopes to open mid-July. He is doing a great job down the street with Dave’s Pub, too.

🤩 HIGH-FIVE: Moore Company Realty & Property Management‘s Gene Cody, CCIM, SIOR on his work bringing a new Chick-fil-A Restaurants location to Wetumpka, AL. That thing is going to be a home-run when it opens!

🤩 HIGH-FIVE: Donny Rouse of Rouses Markets on being named one of New Orleans CityBusiness’ Most Admired C-Suite Executives. I don’t know Donny but love some Rouses markets. They have grown to 76 stores and 8,500+ employees across 3 states now. Awesome stores. Let’s get one in Birmingham.

🤩 BONUS HIGH-FIVE: The University of Alabama alum & basketball player, Chattanooga-based real estate powerhouse Karen Hutton, on getting their latest ModWash open with the ribbon-cutting of their Winston-Salem location. Karen and her team are doing amazing things.

🤩 DOUBLE BONUS HIGH-FIVE: Conecuh Sausage is awesome and people in Houston are about to find out. The Alabama-based brand is now available at H-E-B locations throughout that area as Conecuh Sausage starts heading west.
