🤩 HIGH-FIVE: Birmingham CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) on making a $12,000 donation to Grace House Ministries from the group’s successful golf tournament fundraiser. Great job!

🤩 HIGH-FIVE: Samford University’s  debate team had a big showing at the Wake Forest American Debate Association Fall Championship. Way to go to Derek Hilligoss, director of debate, on the team’s showing!

🤩 HIGH-FIVE: to the new class recently inducted into the Alabama Business Hall of Fame. Members include: Susan N. Story, Tim M. Parker Jr., Benny M. LaRussa Jr., Fournier J. “Boots” Gale III, and Terry C. Anderson.

🤩 HIGH-FIVE: our friend & TRUITT NEWS RADIO alum Dr. Mary Van BruntPresident of Spring Hill College, on a great article in Business Alabama about what all is happening on The Hilltop, including the on-going construction of the new Annette N. Shelby Health & Science Innovation Center.

🤩 HIGH-FIVE: The Pinnacle SkyTower in Toronto which is currently under construction. When completed, it will be Canada’s tallest building. It is the first building in the country to reach 100 floors and will be 106-stories when completed.

🤩 HIGH-FIVE: Southwest Value Partners and their award-winning and totally awesome Nashville Yards development in Nashville. They announced this week another new hotel will be joining the project (The Grand Hyatt and Union Station are already on-site). Bham’s Brasfield & Gorrie is also currently at work on-site putting up what will be Nashville’s Tallest Building, The Paramount, a 60-story residential building as part of the development right now. It just keeps getting better!
