Let’s just jump right into another round of HIGH-FIVES to end this week:

🤩 HIGH-FIVE: Belmont University in Nashville (where my kids go to school) on hosting the live TV Special “CMA Presents I Will Always Love You: A Celebration of Dolly Parton” coming up October 21st. Performers include Carrie Underwood, Ella Langley, Lainey Wilson, Zac Brown, Vince Gill, Brad Paisley, Reba McEntire, Darius Rucker, Little Big Town and more. Show starts at 8pm central time on ABC

🤩 HIGH-FIVE: The University of Alabama at Birmingham Blazers and Coach Alex Mortensen on the amazing win in overtime last night over East Carolina University.

🤩 HIGH-FIVE: John Cassimus and his fast-growing, Bham-based ZoZo’s Kitchen. New locations announced for Hoover & Auburn. More to come. Great place. Make sure to stop in and eat up.

🤩 HIGH-FIVE: I’m loving this thing Tim Stephens is doing with Diehard Sports Network. They are focusing a media company covering “smaller” school sports such as Troy University and Jacksonville State University that national media does not follow as much. Great idea! Hope this really takes off.

🤩 HIGH-FIVE: Tuscaloosa-based Taco Casa for being reliably awesome every time I need some.
