Hey, it’s time to look at all the great stuff our builders in Alabama are doing with today’s TRUITT NEWS CONSTRUCTION REPORT. Here we go:
👷 Maxus Construction Company has completed a 3-story, 60,000 sq ft, self storage facility in Bowling Green, KY.
👷 Martin & Cobey Construction has the new 2-story, $65m-ish, Arab High School coming along on Hwy 231. Shooting for opening in August 2028.
👷 Gaillard Builders, Inc. is making a ton of progress on their Joe Bullard Cadillac project in Mobile.
👷 Michael Allen General Contractors recently completed the 1854 Rare Wines & Gifts in downtown Opelika.
👷 BL Harbert International LLC has the Voce Hotel and Residences coming out of the ground in the Midtown/West End area of Nashville. Great project that will go 25-stories developed by Vastland Companies. Excited to see this one built.
👷 MJ Harris Construction Services, LLC has broken ground on the 54,100 sq ft, Ernest Broomfield Rehabilitation Hospital in Broomfield, Colorado.
👷 Stuart Construction in Bay Minette is working on a new expansion project for Kaishan Compressor USA in Loxley.
👷 Steven Blalock and the Blalock Building Company, Inc team is starting work on their Regal Cinemas renovation project over in McDonough, GA.
👷 Stone Building Company has topped out the $100m Barbara Drummond Thorne Academic and Research Facility at Auburn University.
👷 Hoar Construction recently celebrated the ribbon-cutting of the Decatur Recreation Center.
👷 Bham’s Doster Construction Company is starting on the 4-story Hufstetler Tower in Moultrie, GA for the Colquitt Regional Health System.
👀 CONGRATS: Building & Earth‘s Jeff Cowen, PG, PE has been nomiated to the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) College of Fellows.
👀 HIRING: Jack’s Family Restaurants, LP was looking for a Construction Manager to join their team.
👀 FINALLY: I know every has seen this by now but I am still excited ground has been broken on the new Mobile River Bridge & Bayway. Been a long time coming!
👀 CONGRATS: Tom Gregory on his recent move to MJ Harris Construction Services, LLC to serve as their Nashville office’s Director of Business Development.
