Zach Truitt made it down for dinner a few days ago with Lucie Schauer and they came back raving about it. Pihakis Restaurant Group dominates with Little Donkey, HERO Diner, Rodney Scott’s BBQ and Luca & Lucy all in one spot with a super-cool common area. Go check it out.
HGH-FIVE: Webstar Technology Group and Forge Atlanta Asset Management on closing on the land for a new 10-acre multi-use development in downtown Atlanta that is going to be awesome. Phase I will bring a new hotel, 600-condo units, and 60,000+ square feet of retail & entertainment space with more to come.
HIGH-FIVE: Big Sky Resort & Missoula, MT-based Jackson Contractor Group, Inc. on getting the new Explorer Gondola open after 3 summers of work, unlocking the 11,166′ summit of Lone Mountain! Great news for skiers.
HIGH-FIVE: PopStroke Entertainment Group on having their new Nashville location open up on the 28th, becoming the 20th location for that fast-growing entertainment group.
HIGH-FIVE: Bham-based Jack’s Family Restaurants, LP on getting their new location near the Birmingham Crossplex open for business AND for Dana Taylor stepping up as their new CEO, becoming the first woman to lead that fantastic burger-making company.
BONUS HIGH-FIVE: Bham’s Nequette Architecture & Design & golf-course designer Tom Fazio on their work creating what is going-to-be one of the bet private clubs in the south, The Point Clear Club, down in Baldwin County, AL. You will be hearing a lot more about this project as it comes together.
