NOV 14 & NOV 15: The US Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron, Blue Angels are having their Homecoming Air Show in Pensacola.
π STAT: Tony Gwynn, who was just an incredibly consistent hitter with the San Diego Padres, also played basketball for San Diego State University. I saw where he had more assists at SDSU (590) than strikeouts in his 20-year MBL career (434). Amazing!
π NBC televised the first college football game seen on TV today in 1939 when Fordham University knocked off Waynesburg University. People apparently wanted to see more.
