✅ TIMES ARE CHANGING: I see where Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge is building on the site of the former Spinnaker Beach Club property in Panama City Beach and that Club La Vela’s building is for sale, too. Both were heavily damaged in Hurricane Michael back in 2018. Those 2 places entertained thousands of college partiers for many, many years (I heard).
📺 “Band of Brothers” premiered on HBO today in 2001, as the most expensive mini-series ever made. It was, and still is, fantastic.
👀 CONGRATS: to one of my favorite places, Niki’s West here in Bham, on being included in thetakeout.com‘s “15 Old-School Cafeterias In the US You Need To Visit”. I agree.
