🤩 HIGH-FIVE: My former neighbor at Morris House Lofts in downtown Bham long ago, jazz guitarist Eric Essex, on his new book – SOUTHBOUND: My Musical Journey Home. This guys is super-talented and has played with some amazing musicians across a lifetime in music. They are having a book launch December 7th at the Alabama Jazz Hall Of Fame.

🤩 HIGH-FIVE: Country music star and Hope Hull, AL native, Ella Langley, on earning her first No. 1 song on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs Chart with her “Choosin’ Texas”. What a fantastic year she has had.

🤩 HIGH-FIVE: University of Alabama at Birmingham on naming Alex Mortensen as their new Head Football Coach. He has been serving as the interim HC, but has now officially been named the team leader.
