Time for this week’s TRUITT NEWS CONSTRUCTION REPORT. Here we go with WHO is building WHAT, WHERE:

👷 COVER PIC: The I-65 Road Widening Project is being done in 3 phases:
Phase I: Dunn Construction and Wright Brothers Construction Company, Inc. are involved with this portion which is currently on-going.

Phase II: McInnis Construction, LLC will be engaged to do bridge replacements and related work which should be starting soon.

Phase III: At a future point, Chilton Contractors Inc will be working in the middle section closing the gap between Phase I & Phase II.

*At some point, all 3 Phases will have work going at the same time. The project should wrap up in 2027.
👷 Rives Construction has topped out the new HQ for Consolidated Pipe & Supply Co., Inc in Bham.

👷 T.U. Parks Construction Company has delivered what is now called the Tomorrow Building in downtown Chattanooga, a 39-unit residential conversion project of a historic property.

👷 JT Contracting is part of the WatsonBruhn Builders, LLC team turning the old Wendy’s on Bham’s Hwy 280 into a new Crafts Chicken location.

👷 Maxus Construction Company completed a 11,941 sq ft renovation for Riverchase Country Club in Hoover, AL.

👷 Vincent Construction Inc. just knocked out another ground-up build on a new Starbucks, this one up in Muscle Shoals, AL.

👷 WAR Construction, Inc. broke ground on the 50,000 square foot Anthony J. Rane Hall at Marion Military Institute.

👷 MJ Harris Construction Services, LLC is progressing on the Smith Family Center for The University of Alabama.

👷 Hoar Construction celebrated the ribbon cutting for the University of Alabama at Birmingham‘s new Inpatient Rehabilitation Center.

👷 Wyatt Builds is working on a new project for The Dance Foundation in Homewood, AL.

👷 Matt Shelby and Shelby General Contractors is breaking ground today on the $19.96m renovation of the Irondale Civic Center.

👷Scott Bridge Company Inc. has placed the final steel girders on the new $52m Intercoastal Waterway Bridge in Gulf Shores, AL, moving that project another step closer to use next summer.

👷 Pittsburgh’s Rycon Construction completed the $26m Perry Cafeteria renovation project at Mississippi State University.

👷 White-Spunner Construction celebrated the ribbon-cutting of their Meaher State Park project in Mobile featuring 60 new RV & trailer sites, four cabins, new restrooms, and more.

👷 Place Services Inc. is currently building a great-looking, new 3-story, 58,516 sq ft HQ for themselves in Woodstock, GA.
