Here is my very first TRUITT NEWS CONSTRUCTION REPORT: TEXAS. With so much going on there, thought we should start celebrating the people making it happen. Let’s see WHO is building WHAT, WHERE:

👷 Key Construction has finished the Baylor Scott & White Health BUMC ED Radiology Phase 2 project.

👷 The GSA awarded a $264m design-build contract to Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC for the Brownsville-Gateway Land Port of Entry project.

👷 URS Construction is working on a new Murphy USA Store in Wylie, TX.

👷 Dallas-based MYCON General Contractors, Inc. is working on a renovation & 18,400 sq ft expansion project for FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH AT THE FIELDS in Carrollton, TX.

👷 Northgate Construction is working on improvements at the Dallas Arts Tower in the Dallas Arts District.

👷 Gordon Highlander is building the new PNC Bank Branch in Forney.

👷 San-Antonio’s Bartlett Cocke General Contractors is building the Medina Valley High School #2, a 435,000 sq ft project for the Medina Valley ISD.

👷 Hill & Wilkinson General Contractors is on the 2nd phase of All Saints Presbyterian Church’s renovations in Austin.

👷 Rogers-O’Brien Construction is bringing the tallest building in College Station to life with a 23-story student housing project in the Northgate District serving Texas A&M University.

👷 POGUE CONSTRUCTION has just started on the Prosper Independent School District’s new Jim Bridges Middle School job.

👷 Fort Construction, LP is building the new City Pickle USA facility in Fort Worth.

👷 Lee Lewis Construction, Inc. has broken ground on the new Midland High School that is scheduled to open in Fall 2028. Go Bulldogs!

👷 Birmingham-based Robins & Morton is beginning to get close to the finish line on their $225m Permian Basin Behavioral Health Center project in Midland.

👷 OakHaven Construction LLC is moving along on the new Bank OZK location in Lakeway.

👷 The Smith County Courthouse Phase 2 project in Tyler is being built by Hoar Construction and is scheduled to be completed by the fall of 2026. Great looking project there.
