USC WAS FOUNDED TODAY

The University of Southern California was founded today, October 6th, back in 1880.

What started with 53 students has turned into a fantastic university on their 226-acre campus in Los Angeles.

They almost definitely have the most famous alumni base of any school in the U.S. including John Wayne, Will Ferrell, TV Writer/Producer Shonda Rhimes, Astronaut Neil Armstrong, actor Forest Whitaker, Star Wars creator George Lucas, actress Regina King and many more.

Their Film School is widely considered to be the best in the world, they are the only school to have an Oscar-nominee every single year since the award was started back in 1929, and the Trojans have an athletic history about as good as anyone could ask for.

Love them or hate them, it all started today for the University of Southern California.

Go Trojans!
